This is a 28 year old male from Middlesex County, CT, who is 5’11 and 172 lbs who traveled to Dr. Blau, board certified plastic surgeon with over 20 years experience, for his Gynecomastia, or enlarged male breasts. This is a condition that results from an abnormal formation of mammary tissue underneath the male breast causing a swollen appearance. It was a condition the patient was not comfortable with and he did not like the prospect of removing his shirt in public. He consulted with Dr. Blau upon learning of his superlative reputation as a leading authority around the world for his expertise in Gynecomastia surgery. The patient received male breast reduction surgery, excising the mammary tissue, along with a small amount of liposuction. No drain was required.
