The Joint Commission accredits nearly 80 percent of U.S. hospitals, including most of the major hospitals of the New York metropolitan area. Dr. Blau’s decision to undergo such a rigorous and voluntary certification process is a mark of his commitment to cleanliness, quality and strict medical procedures. Our operating staff is comprised of registered nurses and board-certified anesthesiologists.
The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations is an organization under the auspices of the major medical professional organizations, including the American Medical Association and the American Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons. The Joint Commission accredits nearly 80 percent of U.S. hospitals, and there exists no audit process more rigorous for a place of surgery. My staff and I are very proud to have received accreditation with such an excellent rating from a most respected organization. With this certification as proof, you can rest assured that the care we provide is of the best quality and that our office procedures and operating room conditions adhere to the strictest medical guidelines. In cosmetic surgery, our top priority is always patient safety. Please remember that informed and realistic patients are the best plastic surgery patients.
