Dr. Mordcai Blau is a well-known plastic surgeon both domestically and internationally. He is a published author and a leading cosmetic surgeon in the field of gynecomastia surgery. Each year, he performs more than 250 male breast reduction surgeries, making him a leading authority on the procedure.
Diverse Patient Demographics
Due to his vast expertise and experience, Dr. Blau has a significant number of patients, including models, actors, physicians, surgeons, bodybuilders, politicians, and others. These patients come from all over the US and the world, with some traveling from as far as England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan, China, Canada, and the Middle East. His more local patients typically come from New York City, Upstate New York, the Hudson Valley, and the Tri-state area. Because of this, Dr. Mordcai Blau’s practice is truly international.
Catering to Traveling Patients
Since he has so many patients who come from out of town, Dr. Blau and his competent staff are especially well-suited for catering to traveling patients. Our office staff is knowledgeable about accommodations in the area and familiar with common concerns for out-of-town patients.
Remote Consultations
For patient convenience, Dr. Blau is able to provide remote consultations. Typically, when a patient located out of town is interested in a consultation, they are advised to send frontal, side, and three-quarter view photos to the office. Upon receipt, Dr. Blau will then schedule a telephone consultation. Due to the number of non-local patients seeking treatment, Dr. Blau does more phone consultations than in-person.
Pre-Surgery Preparation
Prior to each surgery, Dr. Mordcai Blau and his staff ensure that each patient receives an individualized booklet of pre-surgery instructions. Sending this individualized booklet beforehand prepares patients before coming to our facility.
