This is a 24 year old patient who is 5’9 and 200 lbs from Long Island, NY. He had been suffering from Gynecomastia, a condition in which there is an abnormal formation of mammary tissue beneath the male breast resulting in a swollen or enlarged appearance. Self-conscious about the appearance of his chest, the patient consulted in Dr. Mordcai Blau, board certified plastic surgeon and a diplomate of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. The patient was impressed to learn that Dr. Blau has a superlative reputation world-wide for being a lead authority in Gynecomastia surgery and that over 50% of his practice is dedicated to the correction of the condition. The patient underwent male breast reduction surgery, excising the mammary tissue followed by a small amount of liposuction. The incision is only an inch in diameter and inconspicuous.
