About these severe gynecomastia photos: This 21 year old patient from Westchester, NY interested in male breast reduction that he possiblly developed after using the medication Prevacid and body building a few years ago. He found Dr Blau over the internet and was happy to be informed that Dr Blau is one of the most experienced Gynecomastia surgeons in the world. It was also important to him that Dr Blau is an award winning sculptor and painter. Having an average body and disproportionately large chest made him want breast reduction surgery. During surgery the patient was found to have extremely large pure Gynecomastia tissue that weighed 92 grams (see pathology photos) and needed manual excision of the gland and small amount of liposuction of the breast tissue. The post op photos were taken 2 months after Gynecomastia surgery and the patient was very happy with his breast reduction surgery results.
