This 40-year-old patient from Westchester County, New York had “B” cup male breasts, when compared to woman’s breasts, called severe gynecomastia and is marked by moderate glandular and fat fullness with loose, saggy skin. The condition began a few years before when he was on medications. He consulted with Dr. Blau, who is an award-winning sculptor and painter and an accomplished author and world authority regarding gynecomastia surgery. Surgery included excision of excess glandular and liposuction to remove fatty tissue. The skin of the areola area will not need surgery as the excess skin will shrink after the tissue is removed. As you can see in the photos, the scaring is minimal. The patient is very happy with his surgery and pleased he can once again walk around without his shirt on.
