This is a 32-year-old patient who is 5′8 and 175 lbs, from Winchester, White Plains, NY. He had developed Pseudogynecomastia, or enlarged male breasts that are comprised primarily of fatty tissue, that started at age 18 and had not improved with maturity. The patient felt self-conscious about the appearance of his chest and became tired of feeling embarrassed to remove his shirt in public. This brought him to Dr. Blau, board certified plastic surgeon with over 20 years experience.
