About this rhinoplasty surgery: This man in his 30\’s sustained a severe fracture in Nepal. He underwent nose reconstruction on 2 occasions. The 1st time was in Nepal, where cartilage rib graft was used from his chest and implanted in his nasal dorsum. The second time was done in Plymouth, MA, both were not fully successful. Patient came to our clinic and nose reconstruction and revision was done.
I removed part of and repositioned the rest of the rib graft. A cartilage graft was taken from his right ear and inserted it into the nose dorsum & tip.
Results of the nasal reconstruction can be seen in his post-op rhinoplasty photos.
