This 28 year old patient from San Jose, CA who is 6’0 and weighs 240 lbs developed a condition called Gynecomastia in which breasts becomes enlarged due to an abnormal formation of glandular tissue beneath them. The patient found the condition to be an embarrassing when working out at the gym and sought out the expertise of Dr. Blau, board certified plastic surgeon with over 20 years experience and a diplomat of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Male breast reduction surgery was performed on the breasts, removing the excess glandular tissue. The patient was very happy with the results and returned to San Jose no longer self-conscious to remove his shirt while working out in the gym.
