This 14-year-old male, who was 5’ 10” and weighed nearly 205 lbs suffered from severe Gynecomastia. Due to his age, the severity of the Gynecomastia, and the possible psychological implications in the young man’s future, he and his parents came from Dallas, TX to Dr. Blau. After studying and discussing the case at length, a consensus by all concerned was that the boy needed gynecomastia surgery (male breast reduction surgery). His surgery involved removal of the head and tail of the overdeveloped breast along with liposuction. This teenager and his parents are extremely pleased with the surgical results and the teen no longer feels uncomfortable removing his shirt.
