This 15-year-old teenager from Westchester County, NY (New York City) was embarrassed in school to participate in activities that involved removing his shirt and others seeing his overdeveloped chest. He learned that adolescent gynecomastia affects many young boys about 8 to 12 years of age. Typically tubular or severe cases, as can be seen in the above photos, do not resolve on thier own (mild cases may dissolve by age17).
